These terms cover the purchase of The Fearless Soap Maker, an online course. Plain English, because you should be able to read them.

What you are buying

A pre-order for an online cold process soap making course, delivered on 1 September 2026 by email as a login to online video lessons. One payment of $27 at the founding price. No subscription and nothing recurring. Access does not expire.

The course does not exist yet

This is stated plainly on the sales page and it is stated here. You are backing a course that is in production. If it is not delivered on 1 September 2026, every pre-order is refunded automatically. See the refund policy.

Safety, and the limits of what a course can do

Cold process soap making uses sodium hydroxide, commonly called lye. It is caustic. It causes serious chemical burns and can cause permanent eye injury.

This course teaches safe handling procedure. It does not and cannot eliminate the risks inherent in the craft. You are responsible for your own safety, your own equipment, your own ventilation, and for keeping the materials away from children and animals. Always use appropriate protective equipment.

Nothing in this course is a guarantee that you will not be injured. Anyone who guarantees that is not being honest with you.

What you get to do with it

The course is for your own personal use. You may use everything you learn to make soap, including soap you sell. You may not resell, share, republish or redistribute the course material itself.

Results

No claim is made that you will make money, build a business, or achieve any particular outcome. The course teaches a craft.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid, which is $27.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Material changes affecting an existing pre-order will be emailed to you.
